Røsenkreütz
Røsenkreütz born as a solo project from Fabio Serra and takes shape over a long time involving some old friends to then reach out the current line up.
Røsenkreütz is a neo progressive project band that offers a crossover sound between the classic British-born seventies prog combined with modern contaminations. "Back to the stars", the 2014 debut album, which has achieved excellent acclaim from critics and audiences, is followed by the second work entitled "Divide et Impera", a concept containing eight stories on the theme of control, understood in the broadest sense of the term. Eight mini films each referring to the common basic theme.
RØSENKREÜTZ: FABIO SERRA
Fabio, multi-instrumentalist and producer, has been active for more than 30 years as a sound engineer and producer in recording studios, but has never forgotten his musical origins and his love for British progressive rock. He began his career as a guitarist in some bands, including Arlequin (who made a demo tape in the early 80s in the midst of the new prog revival period) and then, between 1990 and 1993, with Yellow Plastic Shoobedoo (tribute band in unsuspected times dedicated to the Genesis '70 / '75 repertoire), both bands with keyboard player Alberto Bonomi, then with DFA; then landing in the recording studio as a producer / sound engineer and author / arranger since 1989 to this day
The RØSENKREÜTZ project continues after the successful debut with this work which sees the team of the previous one confirmed, then over time consolidated as a live band albeit with a few selected shows.
Back on board Giampa Brunelli, a jazz-funky drummer active for many years on the Verona scene and esteemed teacher at Aloud College, and Gianni Sabbioni, an excellent bass player with a broad and varied curriculum, from Baroque music to Jazz to Rock. We also find Massimo Piubelli, singer of Methodica, giving an awesome performance thanks to the experience gained over the years with his main band and to some very successful European tours such as opening act for Queensryche and Fates Warning.
Since 2017, the lineup expands, enhanced by the presence of Eva Impellizzeri on viola, second keyboards and backing vocals, followed in 2019 by Daniela Pase on background and lead vocals.

New Website finally Online after a looooooooong time.
Left behind our last gig at Club il Giardino 2.0 we are now doing the final checks before beginning the studio works of our third album which will be entitled "The Unsaid" expected, hopefully, by the end of 2024.
Well...actually the album is already all written and arranged at 95%
Some parts are already recorded, some other are waiting.
There have been some further upgrades in the studio, including a pair of wonderful new Iloud Precision 6 Monitors which should make our work easier.
The six element line up is still here and at the moment , even if we're still lookig for a new live keyboard player, we'll keep working in this format.
More news and updates will follow: stay tuned!
January 2026
We wouldn’t be ourselves if we didn’t take biblical amounts of time to get things done… 😄
Jokes aside, it’s been some very intense months on several fronts (especially work – those who know me personally know exactly what I mean), but I’m happy to announce that in January we finally wrapped up the album recordings, completing both Eva’s viola parts and the missing backing vocals from Daniela and me.
February marks the start of the delicate mixing phase, but we’re starting to feel more confident.
The album is turning out beautifully (okay, that’s our point of view — but we believe you’ll agree too, hopefully very soon!).
